We were originally established in 1969 as Roberts & Sale Ltd. The company was a small privately owned limited company specialising in metal fabrication and installation within both the Railway Infrastructure and for Local Authorities.

In December 1999, a separate company was formed by the directors to carry out construction and civil engineering works within the Railway Infrastructure working alongside Roberts & Sale Ltd. In 2009 the two companies were amalgamated forming Roberts & Sale Construction (UK) Ltd to carry out both steel and civil construction works.

Roberts & Sale Construction (UK) Ltd undertakes all aspects of steelworks, metal fabrication, general construction and civil engineering, including all brickwork repairs and general maintenance associated with the railway infrastructure with all aspects of bridge refurbishments being our area of expertise. 

Our key clients include leading rail industry Principle Contractors and Train Operating Companies such as Greater Anglia, Trenitalia c2c, Kier, Wates Living Space, Walker Construction and Amalgamated Construction (AMCO).

The combined experience of both the Director and staff have been involved in the railway industry since the early 1980's, working in various disciplines including project management, engineering, construction, installation, civil engineering, steel work fabrication and erection.
